I'm a software developer (with over a decade of experience), and am currently looking for detailed Original Character artists (simple After Effects animation skills earn bonus points, but certainly are not required).

I'm mainly interested in highly detailed, (safe for work) OC art. To see what I mean, check out some of the people i'm already watching. I've been quite impressed with so many of you out here. Even if you don't think you live up to the watches I've picked, if you're interested, send me an email. :)

If I've watched you, it means I like your art and might contact you to inquire about a project I'm currently working on. Pay would of course be half up front and half on delivery of each image (your work deserves to be paid for). I would give you the details of what I need, you'd give me an estimate, and we'd proceed from there.

As an artist, you wouldn't assume any financial risk, you'd be paid before the game is even released. You can of course post and sell the art I'm commissioning from you (i.e. feel free to use it on your patreon). I would require the (c) for any OC I pay for, but you'd be granted full perms to do with the char as you please (The more art of the char around, the more interest gets drummed up for both of us!). I'm likely to use a lot of it in the ads I set up, and whatever else comes along.

If the game takes off and starts making buckets of money, you can expect me to approach you to negotiate a full time gig on this. (or part time, if your love for art precludes you from spending too much time in one spot. I'm flexible).

As with any game, it might be profitable and it might not, but based on the research i've done I'm willing to risk my own money on this project to see that it is a success.

It is an important pet project of mine, and as such will receive all the attention it deserves :). As such, I'm making the initial investment to cover this stuff out of my own pocket: Advertisement, OC art, animation, advertisement, an OST for the game, and quality sound effects. Oh, and advertisement ;). I think you can see where a large share of initial investment will be going. We have to get exposure and get our name out there.

Of course I have a day job to keep my bills paid, so my work schedule on this project would be some afternoons during the week and on weekends. Projected dev time for this project is between 6 months to 1 year after I get everyone on board. (I have everyone else, artists are the ones i'm looking for now).

Your involvement can be as much or as little as you want. I'll be setting a discord channel for communication, and shared documents for design details.
